Commentary on the application of aldehyde and ketone resins in adhesives and other fields

Because of its low softening point, aldehyde resin has excellent adhesion and is superior to HBX-120 polyketone resin, and is widely used in various solvent-based adhesives. It is recommended to use 3% - 10% in the whole system. (Recommended by engineers)

2. HBX-120 aldehyde resin has very good initial viscosity and holding viscosity, and is very suitable for use in nitrocellulose adhesives, for binding fabrics, leather, paper and other similar materials.

3. The thermal stability of HBX-120 aldehyde resin enables it to be used in hot-melt compounds containing acetylbutylcellulose, which can be used to control the melt viscosity and hardness of the cooling block. Such hot melt can be used to protect the mechanical parts of the tool.

4. HBX-120 aldehyde resin is soluble in ethanol and has certain hardness, making it suitable for manufacturing polishing agent and wood surface treatment agent. 5. HBX-120 aldehyde resin can be used as fabric waterproof agent during cleaning.                

6. HBX-120 aldehyde resin used in polyurethane component adhesive can significantly improve the adhesion fastness, brightness, water resistance and weather resistance of the system.

★ Special reminder: The recommended amount of aldehyde-ketone resin in the above adhesive products is for reference only. The manufacturer should determine the best amount of Z according to its own adhesive formula and the use of adhesive raw materials. Z High usage is recommended to be no more than 15% in the whole system. If there is no crack or brittleness, the usage can be appropriately increased.
