Aldehyde resin HBX-A101

Formaldehyde resin HBX series (also known as polyacetal resin) is a colorless and transparent to light yellow, anti-yellowing aliphatic aldehydes hard resin, also known as a panacea resin. Its appearance is divided into granulation small semi-circular rules and non-granulation irregular small particles, be used in solvent-based coatings and inks, solvent-free coatings, UV light curable coatings, powder coatings, resins modified, and other systems as a special hard resin. Formaldehyde resinHBX series can be marked to improve the anti-yellowing of the paint film, to shorten the drying time, to increase the film hardness, fullness and shine, to increase the solid content. Because of low-viscosity characteristics, formaldehyde resin HBX series can reduce the usage of organic solvent paint industry and reduce atmospheric pollution caused by VOC emissions. Formaldehyde resinHBX series have an excellent dispersion in the metal pigment and other pigment wetting, while soluble in most organic solvents, so they are fit for oil-soluble condiments. In particular, they can reduce the cost of universal color paddle more than 40%, and middle-low solvent adaptation much better than those of similar products abroad. Formaldehyde resinHBX series can also be used for powder coatings and chlorinated rubber modified and so on. In general, the performance of formaldehyde HBX series has reached even more than similar foreign products and it is widely used in coating of paint, ink and other industries as a special resin.

1、 Solubility
    HBX series aldehyde resin is soluble in most solvents used in coatings, such as alcohols, esters, ketones, ethers, aromatic solvents, aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, etc., while similar foreign products are insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents and can only be diluted with this solvent. HBX series aldehyde resin is insoluble in water.

I, Because of good heat resistance, HBX-A101 formaldehyde resin is suitable for baking finish and other heat resistance systems. Especially because it does not produce any odor and discoloration resin, so they can significantly improve the resistance to flexion of the coating system and so on.    

Ⅱ, Non-benzene of HBX-A81/non-benzene ofHBX-A101 formaldehyde resin, owing to no benzene, toluene, xylene, mixed benzene, ketones, and other organic compounds, free of heavy metals ect, mainly using in no benzene environmental protection coatings and ink systems. (Engineers recommended)     

Ⅲ, Because of the light color and excellent pigment wetting, A81/A101 formaldehyde resin especially suit for making universal colorants. What’s more, its low solution viscosity can make it produce high-pigment content paste.

Ⅳ, A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin is superior to aldehydes and ketones resin in the color, anti-yellowing, anti-aging, flexibility, adhesion, solubility and drying speed when they are used in wood, metal, paper, polyurethane and other coatings.

Ⅴ, It is used in producing automotive repair paint, motorcycle paint, cycling paint and so on, to increase gloss, improve pigment wetting properties, increased hardness, anti-yellowing , weather ability, and shorten the drying time. We recommended adding 2% -6 % A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin in the whole system. 

Ⅵ, It is used in the modified resin of the nitro paint, enhancing the performance of chemical weathering, improving the fullness and one-time film thickness, enhancing anti-yellowing performance, increasing solid content and the flow level ,  increasing the dilution of the solvent coating especially the solvent of benzene. We recommend A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin replacing about 20% of the nitryl fiber.

Ⅶ, It is used in modified resin of amino baking paint alkyd. It can improve drying property; speed up the initial physical drying process. We proposed to replace a part of alkyd resin in accordance with the quality requirements of modified resin.

Ⅷ, It is used in modified resin of alkyd / chloride resin coating to enhance the compatibility between chloride resin (especially chlorine ether and chlorinated rubber) and alkyd resin, to improve the gloss and chemical resistance of the coating, to improve the solid content of coating. We recommended to instead of alcohol acid of the alkyd / chloride resin and the volume does not exceed the total resin content of 10%. 

Ⅸ, It is particularly suitable for producing hot-melt road marking paint. It has good adhesion to the substrate, can improve the shock resistance, significantly improve the water resistance、corrosion resistance of the system and has good weatherability. Manufacturers can add about 20% A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin in accordance with its own coating formulation and the use of raw materials or they can use A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin alone as the based material. 

Ⅹ, It can be used in powder coating to improve flow leveling and enhance the adhesion to the substrate. We recommended it to be used in epoxy powder coating, epoxy/polyester coating and other coatings, using A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin instead of 5% -15% reactive resins to enhance the physical and chemical properties of powder coatings. 

Ⅺ, It can be used in high-end ink system, such as ball-point pen ink, high-grade ink, lakes, photocopiers toner, inkjet and so on. A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin can significantly improve the system of anti-yellowing variability, chemical resistance, water resistance to give the excellent flow leveling and weatherability. It can maintain the quality of its good stability, guaranteeing it not stratification and not change the product performance etc. when storing in a long time.

★ Reminded: Ⅰ, It is normal that A81 / A101 formaldehyde resin have a slight change in color. It has no impact on the product property.
