Product features and Applications
1. This product is fine American micro powder wax, with high hardness, high melting point, good particle shape and relatively concentrated particle size range, neat molecular weight and easy dispersion. It is suitable for various types of inks, and has the functions of smoothness, scratch resistance, wear resistance, anti adhesion and stain resistance.
2. The raw material is hard wax imported from the United States, which is suitable for solvent based coatings and inks, especially thin coating coatings and inks. It can greatly improve the wear resistance of inks and reduce the friction coefficient of inks. It has good adaptability to benzene soluble inks, alcohol soluble inks and ester soluble inks. Polyethylene wax dispersed in aromatic and aliphatic solvents can increase the precipitation resistance of coatings and inks. It also shows varying degrees of thixotropy, sagging resistance and positioning of metal pigments.
3. In addition to solvent based ink, it can also be applied to offset printing ink, plastic paint, coil steel coating and other fields.
4. It can be used in powder coatings. The addition of less than 3 / 1000 can increase the hardness of powder coatings, increase the scratch and wear resistance, and assist in extinction in powder coatings. It does not smoke at all during baking at 180 ℃.
Addition amount and use method
In different systems, the addition amount of micro powder wax generally accounts for 0.5-3% of the whole system.
It can usually be directly dispersed in solvent based coatings and inks by high-speed stirring.
Micro powder wax can be added through various grinders and high shear dispersion equipment. When using the grinder, pay attention to control the grinding temperature between 45 ℃ ~ 55 ℃, and the Z height shall not exceed 60 ℃, so as to prevent micro powder wax agglomeration.
Pre dispersion treatment can be carried out to prepare wax slurry with wax powder concentration of 20-30%, which can be added to the system when necessary, so as to reduce the dispersion time of micro powder wax.
