It can significantly improve the gloss, fullness, surface hardness and flexibility of coatings. It has good wetting to pigments and can be used in high solid content coatings.

The coating is wear-resistant, washable, high temperature resistant, acid rain resistant, strong adhesion, good ductility, waterproof, mildew proof and self-cleaning; Excellent constructability, one-time molding and short construction period; It is cost-effective, can adapt to any irregular wall, and can decorate any bending, fine edge and other parts, which can fully reflect the line and hierarchy of the building. Reduce the bearing capacity of the wall, and the cost is only 30 ~ 40% of that of natural granite.

In order to obtain polyketone resin with high hydroxyl value, Zhang Zhenxiang and others introduced ketones with hydroxyl (such as p-hydroxyacetophenone, 1-hydroxy-2-butanone) and aldehydes with hydroxyl (such as β- Hydroxybutyraldehyde), cyclohexanone and formaldehyde can make the hydroxyl value of the resin reach about 350mgkoh / g. In order to prepare light colored polyketone resin, Hu Xuewu and others treated cyclohexanone with sodium hydroxide to remove the organic impurities that are easy to be oxidized and deteriorated by air, removed the metal ions from formaldehyde by ion exchange, and added a certain amount of antioxidant and anti UV agent in the resin production process to obtain light colored polyketone resin with good anti yellowing performance. The synthesis research of polyketone resin in China started late. Compared with foreign countries, it is half a century late. Most of the synthesis research of polyketone resin is cyclohexanone formaldehyde resin. There is no domestic polyketone resin other than cyclohexanone formaldehyde resin in the market.
