The coating of PUA is characterized by good abrasion resistance, good flexibility, relatively high impact strength and tensile strength, excellent chemical corrosion resistance and excellent adhesion, and has been widely used in waterborne UV curable oligomer systems. After copolymerizing PU (polyurethane) with acrylate (cheap, easy to prepare, full film, good gloss, etc.), which has excellent comprehensive performance and expensive price, the prepared PUA resin has both advantages, and the use performance of the corresponding UV curable waterborne resin is significantly improved. WSPUA (waterborne UV curable star shaped hybrid PUA) was prepared, and the influence of the soft segment composition of star shaped PU molecular arm on the properties of WSPUA lotion and UV curable adhesive film was emphatically discussed. Asif et al. used WHPUAs (waterborne hyperbranched PUA) as the prepolymer to prepare the corresponding UV curing resin.

The results show that the Tg (glass transition temperature) of cured WHPUAs is higher than that of cured EB2002 (waterborne acrylate resin), and the film strength of the former is higher than that of the latter. Modified waterborne UV curable PUA can effectively overcome the shortcomings of traditional UV curable PUA, such as poor water resistance and poor flexibility. Yin Hailong et al. introduced a variety of hydrophilic groups into the PUA chain segment to synthesize a multifunctional modified UV curable WPUA (waterborne PUA), and found that the comprehensive performance of the cured film of the modified product was improved. The comprehensive properties of waterborne UV curable PUA resin can be further improved by nano composite modification of silicone. Sow et al. used Yanjiagu 819 as photoinitiator to synthesize PUA nanocomposite resin containing alumina and SiO2 by waterborne UV polymerization.

The results show that the introduction of alumina and SiO2 nanoparticles can effectively improve the hardness of PUA coating without affecting the adhesion between the coating and the adherent. Firstly, waterborne UV curable PUA oligomer was synthesized in situ; Then, with different TEOS (tetraethoxysilane) and GLYMO (3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane) as coupling agents, waterborne UV curable PUA/SiO2 oligomers were prepared by sol-gel method. The results show that the composite is expected to be widely used in high-performance waterborne UV curing resin. C After blending waterborne PUA and waterborne EA resin, UV curing is carried out. The blend UV curing film has good comprehensive properties (such as compatibility, curing rate, optical properties and mechanical properties), and its application prospects in coatings, varnishes and inks are very broad.
