Aldehyde resin usually refers to a type of high molecular weight polymer produced by condensation reaction between aldehyde compounds and phenols, alcohols, etc. Common formaldehyde resins include phenolic resin, urea formaldehyde resin, melamine formaldehyde resin, etc.

Phenolic resin has good mechanical properties, heat resistance, and electrical insulation. It has high hardness and can withstand certain pressure and friction, and is commonly used in the manufacturing of mechanical parts, electrical insulation materials, etc. The heat resistance of phenolic resin enables it to maintain stable structure and properties in high temperature environments, and can be used to make refractory materials and high-temperature molds.

Urea formaldehyde resin has low cost, good adhesion and formability, and is widely used in the wood processing industry as an adhesive to firmly bond wood together. At the same time, it can also be used to manufacture molded products, such as various daily necessities, stationery, etc.

Melamine formaldehyde resin has high hardness, glossiness, and wear resistance, as well as good water and solvent resistance. Commonly used in the manufacture of high-end tableware, decorative panels, etc., their surfaces are smooth and beautiful, and are not easily scratched or corroded.
